With the unique experience and background to solve the problems of manufacturing reliable high-performance equipment for extended deployment in the challenging ocean environment, InterOcean uses proven up-to-date technologies to meet customer requirements with durable, easy-to-use solutions.
Delmar is a worldwide supplier of offshore mooring-related services and has a long history of designing specialized equipment and tools to improve safety and efficiency in the offshore oil and gas industry, including engineering design, mooring analysis, project management, planning and procedures, operational installation, and mooring equipment rentals. Headquartered in Broussard, LA with technical services based in Houston, TX, Delmar Systems, Inc. has provided mooring and subsea installation services for over 48 years to every oil and gas region around the globe, with offices strategically located to serve the offshore industry in the world’s most challenging offshore environments.
“The synergies between Delmar and InterOcean make this combination of strengths a key benefit for our mutual customers,” says Mike Pearlman, President and CEO of InterOcean Systems.
A primary area of interest and immediate opportunity is the Rig Anchor Release (RAR) which is used to selectively and remotely disconnect large offshore platforms from their moorings, a critical technology for achieving significant cost savings now being realized by many offshore operators. The RAR was developed by InterOcean, and has a long and successful track record including recent use by Delmar in support of critical mooring projects for major oil and gas operators.
“InterOcean’s excellent reputation for quality and innovative products will be a great addition to Delmar. We welcome the dedicated professionals as InterOcean has a long standing reputation serving the specialized marine equipment industry on a global basis,” says Brady L.
