Slick Sleuth sensors are integral to a novel new system developed by EnviroEye and used to monitor stormwater drains on external floating roof (EFR) aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) If drain lines fail, leak, or ‘weep’, the presence of hydrocarbons is instantly detected. Upon detection remote alert is sent to facility personnel and the drain valve is closed automatically, thereby prevent release of product to the ground within the tank dike or the environment beyond.
